Tips & Tricks
Add green food colouring to some icing mix to pipe stems on your muffin roses!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Pams Pink and White Baking Mallows
  • ½ Tbsp Pams Milk
  • ½ cup Pams Pure Butter, softened
  • 2-2 ½ cups Pams Icing Sugar, sifted
  • A few drops of red food colouring
  • 12 store bought bakery muffins

Method

  1. Place the mallows and milk in a heatproof bowl and microwave for 40 seconds (or until melted). Whisk and set aside.
  2. In a separate large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the butter and 2 cups of icing sugar until creamy. Add the marshmallow mix and continue beating to combine. Gradually add the remaining icing sugar if the mixture is too wet.
  3. Finally add the food colouring and mix through.
  4. Using the star tip from the Pams Icing Decorating Kit, fill the piping bag with the icing and pipe roses on to the muffins. Start from the centre and pipe outwards in a spiral pattern.
  5. Arrange your rose muffins on a platter in the shape of a bouquet.
