Asian Short Rib Noodle Soup

For a quick dinner that’s still packed with depth and flavour, this noodle soup with our Slow Cooked Asian Style Beef Short Ribs is just the ticket. Perfect for the colder nights, time to hunker up with a bowl of goodness.

Tips & Tricks
  • For added depth of flavour in your soup base, sauté a sliced Pams Onion with the garlic and ginger!
  • Add a squeeze of lime, sliced chilli and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving. Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves Pams Garlic, finely sliced
  • 2 tsp Pams Crushed Ginger
  • 1 Pams Finest Slow Cooked Asian Style Beef Short Ribs
  • 1 litre beef stock
  • 1 packet Pams Hokkien Noodles (use both packs inside)
  • 2 cups Pams Baby Spinach

Method

  1. Add a splash of oil to a medium sized soup pot over medium-low heat. Sauté the garlic and ginger for a few minutes until soft and fragrant.
  2. Pour in the beef stock, turn up the heat and bring to a rolling simmer.
  3. Remove the beef short rib from the pack. Add to the soup along with the sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the short rib from the soup and place in a shallow bowl. Using 2 forks, shred the meat and remove the bones. Return the shredded short rib meat to the simmering soup.
  5. Add the hokkien noodles to the soup and simmer until warmed through - about 3 minutes.
  6. Remove the soup from heat, and stir through the baby spinach before serving.
