Cheats Wrap Samosas

Craving a delicious samosa flavour but don’t have time to master it the authentic way? These Cheats Wrap Samosas are the perfect hack for a tasty lunch or afternoon snack!

Tips & Tricks
  • Add leftover curry to your mashed potatoes for an easy way to use your leftovers!
  • Make a dipping sauce for your samosas with 1/2 cup of plain yoghurt, 1 teaspoon of Pams Crushed Garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice!
  • As an alternative to the egg wash, mix together 2 tablespoons of flour and 6 tablespoons of water to form a paste. Brush onto tortillas and use to seal your samosas together.

Ingredients

  • ½ pack of Pams Mashed Potatoes
  • 1 Pams Brown Onion, diced
  • 2 tsp Pams Crushed Garlic
  • 1 cup of Pams Baby Peas
  • 3 tsp Pams Mild Curry Powder
  • 1 pack of Pams Jumbo Tortillas

Method

  1. Cook mashed potatoes on the stove top or in the microwave as per packet instructions.
  2. Add a glug of olive oil to a large fry pan over medium heat and sauté onions until translucent. Add the crushed garlic, curry powder and season with salt. Continue cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add frozen peas to the pan and heat until defrosted. Mix through the mashed potatoes and allow mixture to cool.
  4. Cut jumbo tortillas in half and brush with egg wash.
  5. Take one tortilla half and fold one side towards the centre (with the egg wash on the inside), then fold the other side over, forming a cone.
  6. Place 2 tablespoons of your filling into each tortilla cone then place on a baking tray, seam side down and use a fork to seal the open edge. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  7. Brush with oil and cook for 15 minutes at 200°C until golden.
