Fakeaways Carbonara Pizza

Runny egg yolk, melty cheese and crispy bacon, this pizza is everything you love about the classic pasta dish! Breakfast for dinner, anyone?

Tips & Tricks
  • Make it a Chicken Carbonara by adding slices of Pams Smoked Chicken Breast!

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Pams Streaky Bacon
  • 2 Pams Original Pizza Bases
  • ½ cup Pams Carbonara Sauce
  • 1 cup Pams Mozzarella Grated Cheese
  • 2 - 4 Pams Free Range Eggs

Method

  1. Pre-cook the bacon in a large fry pan for about 6 minutes until nearly crisp. Place on paper towels and set aside.
  2. Spread the carbonara sauce evenly across the two pizza bases and top with the mozzarella cheese and bacon slices.
  3. Cooking one at a time, place each pizza in the middle of the oven at 220°C for 4 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and crack 1 - 2 eggs on each pizza and place back in the oven for 6 - 8 minutes, until the eggs are cooked and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  5. Season with salt & pepper, cut into wedges and serve hot and gooey!
