Sausage Breakfast Burger

Brekkie never looked so good! Treat your family this weekend to a loaded breakfast burger with all the good stuff! How could you say no to sausages, bacon, hashbrowns and a crispy fried egg?

  • Add your favourite breakfast burger sauces! Pams Tomato Sauce, Pams BBQ Sauce or even Pams Hollandaise Sauce!
  • This is a great recipe to cook on the BBQ! Fry your bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties and toast your buns all at the same time!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Pams Classic Pork Sausages
  • 8 Pams Triangle Hash Browns
  • 8 rashers Pams Streaky Bacon
  • 4 Pams Eggs
  • 4 Pams Finest Brioche Buns
  • 4 slices Pams Edam Cheese

Method

  1. Remove the sausage meat from the casings then form into 4 even balls and press into burger patties.
  2. Cook the hashbrowns in the oven as per packet instructions.
  3. Fry the bacon in a large fry pan until crispy, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
  4. Add the sausage patties to the same skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Break the eggs into the fry pan and cook until the whites are set, and the yolks are still runny, about 5 minutes.
  6. To assemble the burgers, put 2 rashers of crispy bacon on each of the bottom buns and top with the sausage patties, a slice of cheese, 2 hashbrowns and a fried egg. Sandwich on the top bun and enjoy.
