Slow cooker creamy mustard chicken
Creamy mustard chicken is a delicious classic that also works very well in a slow cooker. Try adding some sprigs of fresh thyme from your garden for an extra kick of flavour.

- 4 medium Pams Agria Potatoes
- 1 packet (400g) Pams Free Range Chicken Thighs
- 3 Tbsp Pams Wholegrain Mustard
- 3 Tbsp Pams Creamed Clover Honey
- ½ cup / 125ml chicken stock
- ½ cup / 125ml Pams Cream
Method
- Cut the potatoes into large chunks and set aside. Season the chicken with salt. Sear in a hot pan, until browned on both sides (but not cooked through). Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add the potatoes and chicken to your slow cooker. Add the mustard, honey, thyme (if using) and stock, and season well with salt. Gently toss everything together.
- Switch the slow cooker onto the high setting. Slow cook for 2 ½ to 3 hours, until the chicken is very tender. Add the cream and gently stir. Continue to cook for a further 30 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Garnish with extra thyme leaves, if desired.
