Sticky Date Mug Cake

Tips & Tricks
  • Serve with Pams Vanilla Ice Cream for the ultimate dessert in a cup!
  • Pams Plant Based Soy or Almond Milk is great for a spongier cake, but you can also use Pams Milk!
  • We used a 250ml mug and a 1500 watt microwave for this recipe – you may need to adjust the timing with a different microwave!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Pams Self Raising Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Pams Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Pams Almond Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Pams Canola Oil
  • 4 Pams Dates, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Pams Golden Syrup

Method

  1. In a large, microwave-safe mug, mix the flour and 1 tbsp of the brown sugar together.
  2. Add the milk and oil, and mix to combine. Stir in the chopped dates.
  3. Top the batter with the golden syrup and rest of the brown sugar, then microwave for 2 minutes.
  4. Cool slightly before digging in!
